  • CEREC – CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic. It is a system that ensures that dental restorations can be created in a single-visit. It uses CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/manufacturing) for the fabrication of dental restorations. It can be used to design dental implants, crowns, inlays and onlays, bridges and dentures etc.Once the area in question has been given anaesthesia and prepared for the procedure, the dentist scans the tooth with the CEREC device. The digital image produced is used to make a computerized design of the crown. Using this highly accurate image, the actual crown is milled from ceramic. This ensures a single-visit restoration procedure and the restorations milled using this process are known to last a long time.
  • iTero Element Scanner – Remember the old putty-based impressions that dentists used to take? Well, it is time we moved on to a less messy and state-of-the-art impression systems like the iTero Element Scanner. With this digital system, we can get a detailed 3D image of your teeth and gums. It becomes much easier for us to diagnose problems and offer the correct and more accurate solution. For a treatment like Invisalign, these 3D digital scans help us with accurate imagery of the before and after conditions.
  • 3D Cone Beam CT – With revolutionary technologies like Cone Beam CT, dental care has become a collaborative process between the dentist and the patient. It is one of the most sophisticated devices of all times.

At New Falls Dental, your comfort and convenience are our utmost priority.With the Nomad Pro 2 x-ray system, which is portable, and the operator can bring the x-ray machine to you. Also, the sensor remains in your mouth for a much lesser time because Nomad Pro 2 is much faster than the traditional x-rays.For children or patients with special needs, the retakes can be significantly reduced because the operator is constantly by their side, thereby reducing the anxiety. Moreover, the inherent shielding on the x-ray head and cone, reduces the radiation exposure of the patient.
  • Dexis CariVu – Do you know we can see through your teeth to check the overall health? With the portable and compact Dexis CariVu, we can see through the teeth to expose their structures and detect any carious lesions not visible to the naked eye.Dexis CariVu uses a technology that can make your enamel look transparent. Because the lesions absorb the light and appear darker, it becomes easier for both our patients and us to see the areas that need care. The images produced by CariVu can be read like any other x-ray images. Moreover, the radiation is non-ionizing, thus, making it suitable for pregnant women, children, patients with pacemakers, or any other patient who may be averse to the radiations.
