Root Canal Therapy / Endodontics

A Root Canal is done when the infection in a tooth has destroyed the enamel entirely and failed to get addressed at the stage of filling. This causes the nerves to get infected, and the patient may suffer severe pain. The RCT procedure helps you to save the tooth by removing the pulp and the nerve of the tooth, cleaning it, and then sealing it.

We use 3-dimensional x-rays to examine the extent of damage and the anatomy of the tooth for a predictable treatment; and only then proceed, keeping you informed at every step. After the procedure, we often cover your tooth with a crown to protect it.

What are the symptoms that you see today, that may result in an RCT tomorrow?

  • Toothache that is lingering at the time of chewing or at times, without putting much force
  • Sensitivity to hot/cold food
  • Swelling & redness in the gums
  • The tooth/teeth turning brown-black
