As dentists, we do our best to preserve your natural teeth and care for their health, but there may be times when a tooth extraction is inevitable. Whether it is your wisdom tooth troubling you, or a tooth that has undergone trauma or irreparable decay, or a peculiar problem faced by you or your children, our dentists at New Falls Dental, have the most experienced and gentle hands when it comes to tooth extraction. We do it with finesse and care.
With the right amount of anesthesia, we first ensure that you are comfortable, and the procedure is absolutely pain-free. After the extraction of your tooth, we place bone graft material to ensure the bone is intact. We may be able to place a dental implant immediately or later; in both cases, the bone graft helps in protecting the bone and surrounding structure.
Tooth extraction, however, is not our first choice at New Falls Dental. We try every technique to save your natural teeth first, and only when we have exhausted all options, is when we recommend extracting a tooth. Your healthy mouth is our topmost priority!
